Ingredients

- 250g rolled oats
- 125g unsalted butter
- 100g soft brown sugar
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) and line a baking tin.
- Melt butter, sugar, and golden syrup in a saucepan.
- Stir in the oats until fully coated.
- Press the mixture into the prepared tin.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Do not overbake for a chewy texture.
- Press mixture firmly into the tin.
- Let cool fully before cutting.
- Use golden syrup for authentic flavour.
- Store in an airtight container.
